29 & 30 January 2015 - Outside LT25
Our first event in 2015! Send your wish, Touch their hearts :') By this time, we have decided that we will be heading to Na' Saat Village and Na Phong Village in May to do our service for our Overseas Service Learning Project (OSLP). Also, we have identified 4 key areas for our project - IT, English, Healthcare and Environment. Upon discussion with our partner from Laos, we will be teaching English to Primary 1-5 students from Na' Saat Primary School.
This event is a platform for us to create awareness about our project and to let our Laotion friends know that we do care about them. With just $1, science students are able to pen down their thoughts on a hexagonal piece of coloured paper for the students at Na' Saat Primary School. These papers will then be collated to create a picture resembling the kaleidoscope of love
Over the 2 days event, we have received many encouraging words and suggestions from various people - students & staffs.
Sometimes, all it takes for us to get out of a bad day is receiving a handwritten message telling us to press on. Sometimes, it's the little things that count most. We are sure that this gesture will be kindly received by our friends in Laos :')
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came down and support us - be it in the form of words or actions. Your well wishes and support will go a long way in creating smiles and spreading joy and love to the Na'Saat Villagers. Khorp Jai Lai Lai!!
